Many pets simply don't want to leave home when you go away. Being such independent creatures, cats particularly, prefer to stay in their home environment (even though they often see that as the whole street! ), because familiar territory gives them a sense of security.

Now owned and operated by Jane and her team, CosyCats has the wonderful job of caring for pets when people are away from home on holiday, on business, laid up by injury or illness, or just too busy. We cater for all types of animals no matter how big or small. CosyCats now has hundreds of satisfied customers right throughout the Manawatu and surrounding areas.

Jane Collins from Cosy Cats Pet Care Services has been minding our cats since 2016. I highly recommend her services to others in need of professional yet compassionate care of their animals in their own home when the owners are away. Our two cats have formed a special bond with Jane and just love her visits. One of our cats is particularly shy but he comes out and positively drools and smooches when he sees Jane. She takes the time to groom him as well as feed him and a very special bond has developed between them. Jane is prompt in replying to requests for her minding services and we find her pricing works for us knowing that our pets are being looked after own their own environment. Jane also takes the time to check the property is secure. She has watered plants, cleared the mail box and even put out the recycling bins when requested. Jenny, Jane’s back up feeder, amply steps into the role when Jane needs a break and the care is seamless. I appreciate the notes that Jane always leaves after a visit that tells us how the cats have been. She is always contactable when we are away especially if there is a late change to plans. I believe Jane’s in home pet care service has helped our cats reach a good old age because they don’t have the stress of being sent into the strange environment of a cattery and they love her company.
